Slowly and carefully

When doing bench presses, holding the bar firmly at the bottom and lifting it without using momentum feels great—it’s like squeezing it out, just like with cable press-downs. But it feels like my veins are about to burst.

Front pull-downs were also very effective when done slowly, without using momentum or my own body weight.

For dumbbell curls, I tested the angles where the tension drops off. Keeping the range between 45 degrees at the top and 60 degrees at the bottom keeps the tension constant, making it tough but effective.
