Creative Rest

It’s been another three days since my last workout.

My knee still hurts a little. Last time, I did Smith machine squats with 30 kg for 10 reps, and 40 kg for 7, 10, and 6 reps, so maybe I’m still feeling the effects of that. Going forward, it seems like I should stick to heavier weights and lower reps for squats.

Today, I did 3 sets of 16 reps on the bench press with 50 kg, and finished the 4th set with 12 reps. Since it had been a while, I kept the weight light to avoid injury.

After that, I did some light sets of one-arm dumbbell curls, dumbbell side raises, dumbbell shoulder presses, and cable press-downs.

I went to the gym today partly to clear my head, and just as I’d hoped, I was able to think things through. I feel like I’m more creative during rest periods than usual.
